How markers move. A unit, a convoy or an aircraft appears at the first position its sources give a time for. Between two timed positions it moves along the points listed between them, at an even pace. After its last timed position a unit stays there, drawn faded, and its details say so; an aircraft leaves the map. A position given without a time is never shown at a time.
Marks that fade. An event, and a point where an air mission struck or dropped at a given minute, is marked from that minute for 20 minutes; on the campaign map an event is marked through its day.
How front lines are drawn. The campaign map draws a front line only as a source mapped it, on that date, through its points in their order. Until the next mapped date it keeps the last one; it never draws a line between two dates.
